Tidbits from DC
Members of DCSail are used to sights like a Presidential helicopter (Known as Marine One when the Commander-in-Chief is onboard) buzzing their racecourse, but it was still pretty cool for us to see.
In other news, I met an officer of the DC Harbor Patrol who might have the most unique daily commute in the Washington area. "Sometimes I'll just kiteboard up to work in the morning," said officer Rob Calligaro, who usually patrols the Potomac onboard a jet-ski during the day. Personally, as a former DC resident, I'd say Officer Calligaro has found the best possible solution to beltway traffic.
