Truth be told, I'm pretty much always excited about sailing. Were I to casually utter that statement amongst my friends, it would probably earn me a slew of eye-rolling and "what else is new" type of comments. Nevertheless, I'm finding it hard to remember the last time I was this excited.
Tomorrow, (If the weather cooperates), I may get my first taste of grand-prix catamaran racing at the Extreme Sailing Series in Boston. If you are in the area, this is not an event to be missed, and they work hard to produce a spectacular show for the fans on shore. A brief preview:
